European type dry white vintage wine, the pride of Georgian wine-makers.

The wine is made from the Rqatsiteli and Mtsvane grape varieties cultivated in Telavi and Kvareli region.

When ready for use, the wine has pale-straw colour, a fine fruity bouquet, a mild and delicate taste.

Its alcohol content is 10.5-12% and titrated acidity 6.0-7.5%.

It has been manufactured since 1886.

The wine can be aged for a further five years for those with an interest in the wine as it adopts some nutty bottle aged characters as earlier vintages have done. However it is recommended that the wine be consumed within the first two years for maximum enjoyment of the rich flavours.

Recommended with lamb, mushrooms, vegetables, cheese and fish.
